What We Believe
United Methodists share a common heritage with other Christians: conviction that God has mercy and love for all people; belief in a triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; and hope of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ our Lord.
We believe faith is put into action as the Holy Spirit empowers us to live transformed lives and to share God's transforming love in word and deed.
The mission of our congregation is "to make and support disciples of Jesus Christ." Four guidelines by which we understand our faith are: scripture, tradition, experience and reason.
While joyously proclaiming our convictions, we extend a welcome to all who are seeking God's truth and wholeness.
